The Best Western is a good option for those passing through Cobourg, as well as those staying to explore.

It’s located pretty close to Hwy 401 and not far from the beach either.

It’s also close to our prosperous mall as well! I was being sarcastic here if you couldn’t tell because our mall is anything but prosperous. It is sad. But it does have a movie theatre, so that’s something!

I should mention that breakfast is not free. Breakfast is available for a charge at Arthur’s Pub, which is attached to the Best Western.

Additional pet types (cats, birds, etc) may be accepted at the hotel’s discretion.

Comfort Inn

Technically, the Comfort Inn is located in Port Hope, but since it’s less than 10km away from Cobourg, it’s a great option for those who want to take in more than one town on their visit. Also, the Port Hope Downtown area is awesome, just wear comfy shoes as it is all uphill!

The Comfort Inn is located right off of Hwy 401, so it’s nice and easy to get back to the highway when you and your pooch are ready to go home.
